Saturday morning, Oct. 11, dawned clear, cool and crisp—a perfect fall day for a Homecoming celebration.
Hundreds of returning Knights and alumnae of Villa Maria College were treated to a weekend of memories, old friends and the thrill of what is new on a campus that many might not have recognized from their student days.
Parades, reunions and a football game played before a capacity crowd against rival Mercyhurst University all added up to a mountain of fun and, we’re told, a record number of Homecoming selfies.
Cameras were indeed everywhere—including ours. If you were there, enjoy the gallery and see if you can find yourself in the happy crowd.
If you weren’t there, now is the time to make plans for next year.
A record number of 908 attendees joined in Gannon’s 2014 Homecoming celebration. Hear more about the homecoming events and catch a glimpse of Gannon’s tradition.
